Exciting vacancy at Salford Credit Union- can you help improve how we work?

Salford Credit Union is helping local people to get better off- we offer fair and affordable loans and membership accounts to encourage everyone to build a savings habit. We’re a co-op so the money stays local and benefits our community- not distant shareholders.
This is an exciting time for our Credit Union- we have already made major improvements and are looking to grow and improve our services so we can help even more people. We are looking for a positive, self-motivated candidate who likes a challenge and wants to make a real difference to people’s lives by supporting us in improving the way our business works.

You will have experience in delivering service improvements, be an excellent communicator- written and oral- and have developed good relationships with a range of stakeholders. You will have a positive attitude and be happy working under pressure to meet tight deadlines. You will have the skills and confidence to work with our team and the Board to identify improvement opportunities, develop options and embed improvements- so that we can help even more people benefit from our affordable, ethical financial services.

The salary is £23,000 pa for 37.5 hours/week.
Because of the nature of the role the successful candidate will be required to undertake a credit check and become a member of Salford Credit Union.
